We are extremely proud that the insights of the Erasmus+ CultureLights project have inspired the upcoming edition of the Venetian Smart Lighting Award 2023 in the definition of the new special recognition of extraordinary lighting solutions for the cultural heritage sites!
CultureLights project focuses on enhancing knowledge of sustainable lighting systems and, more specifically, on adaptive lighting that also plays the role of conservation trigger for the preventive protection and retrofitting of cultural heritage buildings and sites.
The Venetian Smart Lighting Award is the annual competition organized by Rete di Imprese Luce in Veneto, member of ELCA European Lighting Cluster Alliance – Coordinator of the #CultureLights project, that aims to promote creativity, reward innovation, and recognize the design and craft capabilities of Veneto lighting companies in the development of smart, innovative and high-quality lamps, lighting fixtures, products, and solutions.
The “Special prize: CULTURE LIGHTS – Lighting products and solutions for the cultural heritage” is open to lighting companies whose products or technical solutions valorise historical buildings, cultural and architectural or heritage sites and buildings, such as historic villas, industrial heritage buildings, places of worship, art and culture.
The winners will be announced at the #VSLA Award Gala on July 13, 2023, at Luce in Veneto premises.
