Project meeting in Krakow 28-29 November

On 28 and 29 November the project partners will finally meet in Krakow (PL) as guests of SIC – Sustainable Infrastructure Cluster.

The aim of the Culture Lights project is to support awareness-raising on environmental and climate change challenges by developing green sector skills strategies and methodologies for building and lighting professionals.

During the two-day event, we will discuss upcoming activities and, in particular, workshops to be held in Poland, Greece and Italy. The interaction workshops are aimed at construction professionals, architects, planners and cultural professionals to examine the views of construction workers and users of cultural buildings on renovation, sustainable lighting, cultural value and conservation; to identify the training needs of construction professionals in terms of technical and digital skills related to sustainable lighting systems.

The Krakow meeting will also be an opportunity to further work on two flexible, learner-centred vocational education and training programmes aimed at blue-collar workers – i.e. electricians, technicians, lighting installers – and white-collar workers – i.e. architects, engineers, designers – in the context of conservation and sustainability of cultural heritage buildings.
